Business Manager ID
If you have a Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Business Manager there is an ID which allows us to request access. When we do social media audits, we will request this ID and send a request to access, to enable us to view your existing assets.
- Once signed into Facebook, visit https://business.facebook.com/settings/ for Business settings. If at this stage you are asked to register, this means your account is not connected to the Business Manager dashboard. Somebody else within your business or a previous marketing agency may have access to this. Failing that, please see the following steps below for granting page access and ad account access.
- In the column on the left hand side of the screen, scroll down and click ‘Business info’
- Business information will appear, including the 15 digit Business Manager ID at the top of the page
- Please send over the 15 digit Business Manager ID and also the name and email address for who will accept our access request.
Page ID / URL
When a Facebook page is created, it is automatically assigned with an ID number. Thereafter, it is possible to switch this ID number for a name (also known as a social handle). Follow the instructions below to identify your Facebook page ID or URL:
- Log in to your Facebook account on desktop
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select ‘See all profiles’
- Select the the desired page
- Then, on the land hand side of the screen, click the business name
- In the URL bar, you can now copy the URL e.g. facebook.com/adtrak or facebook.com/1734748500238 and share this with us
Ad Account ID
Business pages and personal user profiles require an ad account to run adverts, boost posts on Meta (Facebook, Instagram). We need the unique ad account ID to be able to audit your previous advertising results or create new ads.
- When signed into your Facebook account, visit https://business.facebook.com/adsmanager/manage/
- The Ad Account ID number can be found in your browser's address bar. Look for act= in the URL and the 15 digit number that follows.
