This year marks a significant milestone for Adtrak as we celebrate our 25th birthday! Only a sprinkling of digital agencies manage to reach their quarter-century anniversary, so 2022 is sure to be a memorable year for us.
Following in the footsteps of tech giants such as Apple, Microsoft and Google, Adtrak started in a garage in 1997, with the development of directory ads as the main focus for founders Chris Robinson and Alex Lavender.
We’ve come a long way since then.
We now offer a complete range of in-house digital services, helping businesses across the UK and overseas to improve their online presence. The evolution from garage beginnings to global expansion is a testament to our talented team who work tirelessly to achieve results for their clients - we would not be where we are today without them.
To honour their hard work and celebrate the special occasion of turning 25, we will be hosting a party later in the year - in true Adtrak style, it’s guaranteed to be an event to remember!
On Adtrak turning 25, Chris Robinson, Managing Director here at Adtrak, says:
“Celebrating 25 years is a remarkable achievement and I am incredibly proud of the company hitting this milestone. Such occasions offer time for reflection, looking back over all of the amazing things we’ve accomplished during this quarter-century. From working on Band Aid 30, launching a new Adtrak brand, organising charity bike rides and so much more, the hard work and dedication of our staff have been the driving force behind our success.
With this, it’s also important to appreciate how the company and our staff have adapted to a post-pandemic way of working. There’s no denying that it has been a difficult couple of years and the business has faced challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite this, we have managed to weather the storm and stay resilient in the face of adversity. Our commitment to hybrid working and focus on doing ‘the right work in the right place’ was featured on the BBC, with staff splitting their time between remote and office-based working. We are listening to the thoughts and feelings of the Adtrak team to ensure everyone feels happy, comfortable and productive in this new way of working, and we will be tweaking and improving this based on employee feedback.”
One of our biggest accolades over the past 25 years came recently, thanks to our dedication to cultivating fantastic relationships with our clients - something that saw us win third place in the ‘Top 50 Client-Rated UK Agencies’ category of The Drum Awards 2021! Our clients submitted responses to The Drum’s survey, rating us on different criteria such as value for money, quality of work and whether they would recommend us to other companies.
We were overjoyed to even be nominated in such a prestigious category, so to be awarded third place in the UK out of hundreds of other agencies is an achievement we are very proud of.
