Court Farm Garden Centre, who cater to a variety of gardening needs, came to Adtrak for a responsive website and seamless marketing strategy. As a result, rankings and conversions have increased substantially.

The challenge

When Court Farm Garden Centre first came to Adtrak, they had two, dated, non-responsive websites for the two sides of their business – Court Farm Garden Centre and Garden Care Contracting Services. Their main aim was to make customers aware of both sides of their business by combining these two websites into one.

As such, we built them a responsive, mobile friendly website which saw the hero image and navigation split into two, ensuring that customers have all of the information about the garden centre and garden care services in one place, whilst still distinguishing between each one.

Internet marketing

Internet Marketing’s setup for the new site involved onsite optimisation for their chosen locations and keywords, as well as taking over the management of a Google My Business listing, and building and maintaining a number of accurate citations across the web.

Over the course of their time with us, we have increased the number of locations Court Farm target through location pages, helping to improve the business’ online recognition, customer traffic and conversion rate. In turn, this has seen their rankings in Google search engine results pages (SERPs) improve by 2698 places.

Paid marketing

Our Paid Marketing team worked with the client to ascertain their main goals to achieve growth in business, setting the following two key objectives as a result:

-Increase leads generated through the site

-Push seasonal products depending on the season

When the PPC search campaign was launched, we found out that the visitor engagement with the website was good. However, the conversion rate was low which resulted in a revision of our strategy to increase conversions.
We came to the conclusion that we had to focus on mobile, which resulted in the creation of a call only campaign focusing on their main services: gardening and landscaping. For their seasonal products and services – including Christmas trees and logs and tree surgery – we created a campaign that had increased mobile bids, as we knew most users will be on the move.

The results

Overall, Court Farm has seen some very impressive results since collaborating with Adtrak, with their website performance going from strength to strength. The year on year statistics show that their conversion rate from organic traffic has increased from 21% to 37%, which resulted in almost 300 more conversions in July 2016 compared to July 2015. Not only that, the conversion rate from paid ads has increased from 8.79% to 38.46%, which resulted in 97 more conversions in July 2016 compared to July 2015. Additionally, the Cost per Lead has also dropped by 73% on the year on year statistics, proving to be a profitable marketing campaign for Court Farm.
