We are celebrating Adtrak’s 20th birthday this month! And what better way to mark this incredible milestone than with a fabulous party in London?
On Friday 16th June, the entire Adtrak team headed down to the capital to celebrate turning 20. The party, affectionately dubbed Adtrak 20, was held at The Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe and we all enjoyed a night of entertainment, good food and, of course, a few glasses of bubbly.
With performances from Get Funked, whose previous clients include L’Oréal and ITV’s This Morning, and Afishal, who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2012, it was definitely a night to remember (or not, thanks to the free bar).
It was also the perfect opportunity for us to look back at how we’ve grown and recognise our many successes over the past 20 years.
First registered on Companies House on Friday 6th June 1997, Adtrak was established by Chris Robinson and Alex Lavender and originally focused on the development of directory ads.
Since then, a huge amount has changed. Firstly, MMMBop is no longer #1 in the singles chart. In addition, we now offer a complete range of digital marketing services, have grown considerably in size and profitability and reside in a fantastic office in the heart of Nottingham city centre.
Chris Robinson, the Managing Director here at Adtrak, said he believes our success can be attributed to the friendly and close-knit culture we enjoy. Speaking both at the Adtrak 20 event and afterwards, Chris said:
“I firmly believe that our greatest asset is our people. We have gone from 10 staff in 2007 to a team of 120 in 2017. We work hard to maintain a relaxed and friendly working environment which, in turn, fosters the creativity and innovation our clients benefit from.
Our office is a true reflection of our personality and ethos. It’s a total of 15,700 square feet and includes a number of breakout areas, a pool table, football table, in-house gym and a fully equipped photography studio. It’s a fun and creative environment and somewhere we all enjoy coming to each day.
I am incredibly proud of Adtrak. We have grown tremendously over the past 20 years and it’s been fantastic to witness the company expand, both in its size and in our offering to clients.
Our successes have meant we can really invest in the development of our staff. We regularly hire graduates and college leavers and, over the past couple of years, have introduced apprentices to the company – something I’m particularly proud of.
We’ve come so far and achieved so much in the past 20 years and I can’t wait to see what the next 20 years hold!”
